The best despatch for correspondence addressed to the United Kingdom and Continent of Europe will be via Vancouver, closing at Wellington, per Main Trunk train, on Monday, 27th December, at 12.20 p.m. Mails for Tonga and Samoa close at Suva this day at 7 p.m. As correspondence for all neutral countries is subject to censorship, it is urged in order to avoid delays that such correspondence beposted in ample time for tile mail, the day previous to its despatch if possible As the last clearance of the city receiver? is made at 5.45 p.m. on Saturdays, all correspondence for the Sunday night Auckland express must be posted at the Chief Post Office not later than 8 p.m. ou Sunday ■ A.
