EDUCATION OFFICE REFORM
•The Minister for Education (the Hon. J. A. Hanau) said yesterday that- he had prepared a scheme embodying radical alterations in connection with the head office organisation, and the management of the various branches of the Education Department. The new scheme, which cannot be announced until after the New Year, will bring about greater efficiency of administration, and at the same time mean economy of expenditure.
