ANNUAL MEETING OF WELLING-

TON CENTRE.

There was a fair attendance at the annual meeting of the Wellington Swimming Centre held at the V.M.C.A. Rooms last evening. The chair was occupied by Mr. G. S. Hill, while the following delegates were also present: Messrs. A. H. Stevenson (Swifts Club), F. Wilton (Post Office Club), Harris (Thorndon Club), E. Levy (Old Boys' Club), T. Shields (Wellington Club), H. C. W. Blick (Wairarapa), L. Blundell (Carterton), A. M. Famall (Masterton V.M.C.A.).

The Chairman briefly commented on the report and balance-sheet, the latter of which showed a credit of £85 5s 4d. The report, said Mr. Hill, disclosed an extremely satisfactory position — more satisfactory, he ventured to say, than was the case with other similar bodies throughout tho Dominion. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. Following was the result of the election of officers: President, Mr. T. Ronayne, I.S.Q;_ -vice-presidents, Messrs. A. Levy and J. P. Maxwell; chairman, Mr. H. G. W. Blick; hon. secretary, Mr. H. W. Harris; treasurer, Mr. A. H. Stevenson; consul, Mr. T. Shields; starter, Mr. A. Jacobs; handicappers, Messrs. A. Jacobs and L. Blundell; timekeepers, Messrs. 6. S. Hill and L. W. Ludwig; council representative, Mr. B. O'Neill;: executive, Messrs. A. M. Farnall, G. S. Hill T Shields, F. Wilton, L. Blundell, C. T. Bell, and E. Levy; auditor, Mr. A. A. Somerville.
