LONDON, 2nd December.

Lord IVa-nsdowne, speaking in the House of Lords, said that the Government was considering an. appeal from Hie Court's judgment in the Continental Tire Company case, with a view to taking all steps necessary at the end of the war of preventing companies ■where the majority of the shares were foreign-controlled obtaining the status and privileges of an English company. Lord Halsbury has introduced a Bill dealing with enemy companies trading in the United Kingdom.
