GERMAN FLAG IN EAST AFRICA
GENERAL SMUTS'S HOPE.
(Received November 5, 12.14 p.m.) CAPETOWN, 4th November. In a speech at Potchefstroom, General Smuts (Defence Minister) said that, although the German flag still flew in East Africa he hoped that- it would soon disappear altogether.
