MAITLAND MINERS' DISPUTE
POSITION CRITICAL. SYDNEY, 17th October. The Maitland district miners' ledges have rejected the agreement recently reached by the Employers and Miners' Federation, the main objection being that it provides payment for the Newcastle miners at 12s,' and the Maitland men at 11s. 1 * The position is somewhat critical.
