The disappearance of six officers who were interned from the German auxiliary cruiser Kronprmz Wilhelm has led the Government to order the practical imprisonment of the remaining German officers aboard the interned ships in American waters. VICTORIA CROSSES AWARDED TO AUSTRALASIANS. (Received October 16, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, 15th October. Corporal Bassett, a New Zealander, has been awarded the Victoria Cross. Victoria Crosses have been awarded to the following members of the Australian Forces : Captain Shout, Lieutenants Symons, Frederick Tubb, and Hugo Throsseil, Corporals Alexander Burton and William Dunstan, and Privates John Hamilton and Leonard Keysor. Twenty thousand Bulgarians under General Toschef are ready to invade Macedonia and -to engage the AngloFrench forces, which are estimated at 150,000. The Bulgarians are concentrated half on the Servian and half on the Greek frontier.
