Messrs. J. H. Bethune and Co. insert an amended list of business and residential properties which they have on their books for private sale ; they also advertise to let a number of houses, both furnished and unfurnished, offices, and storeroom accommodation. Messrs. Thomson, Brown, and East, Ltd., auctioneers and real estate agents, 174, Featherston-street, advertise an amended list of properties for sale. Messrs. Blake and Co. will sell on Monday at their mart, 53, Lower Cuba street,, furniture, household linen, and plated goods. The firm also advertise house properties for sale. Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Co. will sell furniture, pianos, etc., at their rooms, 151-3, Lambton-quay, on Monday at 1.30. At the residence, 151, Upper Dixonstreet, on Friday, at 1 p.m., they will sell the contents of seven rooms, including a piano. A three days' sale will be held at the residence of Mr. T. C. Williams, commencing 27th October and lasting up to the 29th, beginning at 11 a.m. each day. The contents of thirty rooms will be sold, including piano and an organ. Catalogues will be posted on application. At 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday, Messrs. C. W. Price and Co. are selling the contents of ten Tooms at the mart, 60, Lamb-ton-quay.
