HERETAUNGA BOATING CLUB
CominodoTe J. M'Donald presided at the annual meeting of the Heretaunga Boating Club, held at Petone. There w.as a fair attendance. It "was stated in the report that the committee had endeavoured to husband the resources of the club during the year. Several members had left ( for the front, and it was decided to place on record the clubs appreciation of their patriotism. As to finance, the club's liabilities were nil, while the credit balance for the incoming year represented in cash £14 4s Bd. The election of officers resulted as follows : — Commodore, S. Aldred ; vicecommodore, A. Bittle ; rear-commodore, Witt Taylor; secretary, J. A. Macdonald; assistant secretary, A. Colquhoun ; treasurer, C. Piper; trustees, H. Rowe, R. Jenkins, and E. Hartley; handicapper, E. Tregear; starter and judge, K. Rowe; committee, R. Clark, T. Stutter, F. Sheppard, A. Webley, H. Head; representatives on Wellington and Petona y^sht euul Mot-rtf Horn.
