FRENCH AIRMEN BOMBARD SEVERAL PLACES f • , (Received September 11, 9.40 a.m.) • PARK, 10th September. A communique states : Ths enemy atUcked our positions at Lingekopf and Barenkopf , using asphyxiating shells. ' Our first-line trench at Schratzmaennele was evacuated, owing to the u»» of blazing liquids, but by a, counter-attack we regained mosb of the k»t ground. The enemy gained a footing, but was subsequently ejected, on the summit of Hartmannsweilerkopf. Our aeroplanes bombarded mines and batteries in the Nonnenbruck wood and the railway station at Lutterbach, and dropped thirty shells on the railway station at Grand Pre, in the Argon«t.
