A NATIVE FAREWELL.

Through the courtesy of the City Council, the Wellington Town Hall has been secured for the farewell of the Maori Reinforcements on Saturday, 18th inst. In addition to the general function, there will be an interesting ceremony held afterwards, which will be exclusively Native. No pakehas at all will be admitted, not even the Minister for Defence. The arrangements are in the hands of Sir James Carroll,, Mr. A. T. Ngata, and other prominent Natives. It will be quite a unique gathering.
