CAMP NOTES
Capt. D. Simpson, an officer of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, who ■wa-s wounded in the Dardanelles, and recently, returned to New Zealand, addressed the officers and n.c.o.'s of the 6th Reinforcements yesterday, giving them a valuable insight into the class of work they might expect on Gallipoli Peninsula. Second Lieut. A. W. Nisbet, Unattached List (b), is attached for duty to the Army Service Corps. The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant :— Pte. G. S. Moffatt, F Squadron, 6th Reinforcements, to bo quarter-master-sergeant; Ptes. J. Dunning, A. W. Anderson, and G. Reid, camp military police, Palmerston North, to be lance-corporals j Cpl. F. W. Payne, G Squadron, 6th Reinforcements, to be sergeant. , The receipt is acknowledged of 30 bage of onions from Mr. W. Cook, of Lyttelton.
