The Pope has written to The Emperor Francis Joseph exhorting him to respect i the international laws of humanity and | to spare towns containing priceless works of religious art. { (R-eceived July 19, 8.15 a.m.) ROME, 18th July. The Pope has instructed the Papal Nuncio at Vienna to protest against the bombardment of Bari.
