B, t The chief feature of the "soccer" play on Satnrda-y was tfie crushing defeat of Corinthians by Thistle. Tbe weather was fine, though cold, and the wind blew stiffly from the north-west. V.M.C.A. A (6) v. SWIFTS (0). Playing a- man short, Swifts had no chance against the V.M.'s, who, however, kicked with consistent inaccuracy throughout an uninteresting game.
