(Received June 28, 8.45 a.m.) : ) BLOEMFONTEIN, 27th June. -' The Treason Court sentenced Colonel IWessels to five years' imprisonment and "fined him £5000, and Colonel Conroy and SeTportan to four years' imTprisonment, with no fine. \ A PETITION FOR CLEMENCY (Receiced June 28, noon.) JOHANNESBURG, 27th June. • Thirteen thousand six hundred and ilforty-five Africander women have petitioned the Government for clemency for -De Wet and his fellow prisoners.
