The Incorporated Society of Meat Importers' Sniithfield market quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meat are based on actual sales of not less than one* hundred carcases of mutton or lamb, or twenty-five quarters of beof, of fair average quality. The quotations are not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of tho bulk of tho shipments now on the market. Lamb-^Canterbury, light B|d, seconds Bgd, heavy Bid ; North Island, ordinary 8 5-16 d. selected B|d ; Australian, best B]g<l,B ] g<l, fair Bd, inferior 8d; River Plate, light Bd. heavy 7§d. Beef — Argentine, chilled fores Bd, chilled hinds 9|d. Rabbits— Steady ; New South Wales blues, ex ship, 18s, LONDON MARKETS. LONDON. 26th June. Quicksilver — 323s to 325s per bottle (same as last week). Now Zonland Hemp—Dull of sale : June-August shipment is quoted at £32 per ton (same as last week). Copra— June-July shipment, £20 16s (5s lower than lasfc week). Cotton — June-July shipments, 5.51 d per lb (.27d higher than last week). Rubber— Hard fine Para, 2s 6?d per lb (same as last week) ; plantation, 2s 3jd per lb (2d lowor); smoked, 23 Sjd (same as last week). Wheat^Markefc steady. Indian wheat is selling at Is dearer. Wheat and flour afloat, 2.870.000 quarters; Continent of Europe, 2,565,000 quarters; Atlantic shipments, 257.000; Pacific, 57,000. Total Europe, 950,000; Indian, 188,000; Argentine, 133,000. Copper— Spot, £82 5s to £82 10s per ton ; three months, £582 10s to £83. Tin— Spot, £171 to £171 10s per ton; three months, £168 to £168 10s por ton. Lead— £24 ss, to £24 10s. Silver— -Bnr silver te quoted at 23 l-16d per ounce standard.
