THE WAR LOANS
The attention of the Hon. James Allen was called to-day to a. cable from Lon don announcing that the Imperial authorities had i arranged to supply the Dominions with all the funds they required in future for war expenditure at the same rate of interest as previously. Mi. ' Allen said that he had no information that we would get our loans at the same rate of interest as heretofore, which was under 4 per cent., seeing that Britain was paying, according to the cables, 44 to 5 per cent. He only wished it would be possible. Mr. Allen declined to add anything to this statement.
