GIFTS FROM INDIA
ST. JOHN AMBULANCE SOCIETY'S ACTIVITY. (Received June 26, 9.30 a.m.) I v .SIMLA. 25th June. At the annual meeting of the St. John Ambulance Society, £20,000 was collected. The society has also despatched gifts to the value of £60,000 to the various theatres of war. It was announced that i fresh gifts of £500 and ten bed hospital units had been received from thd Maharajah of Qwaltor and £5000 from the Maharajah of Jaipur.
