' At an adjourned meeting of the Hutt Licensing Committee this morning, the license of the Bellevue Hotel was renewed. ( "The Public Works Department of New Zealand is able to impart a training in all-round engineering which, I think, is second to none given anywhere in the world."— Mr. R. W. Holmes, Enginecr-in-Chief to the Public Works Department, at a sitting of the Railway Appeal Board to-day.
