WESTERN QUARTER BURNED BY RUSSIANS ' # VIOLENT BATTLE ON THE DNIESTER. (Received June 25, 1.30 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, 24th June. German papers state that the western quarter of Lemberg was burned by the Russians, who ignited the benzine and petroleum Tefineries before leaving. A German communique states that General yon Lissingen haft crossed the Dniester between Halicz and Zuravno, and is engaged in a violent battle.
