Mr. Lambert is an expert tradesman, and personally ".attends to the bakery portion of the business, while Mrs: Lambert supervises the tea and luncheon rooms and, boarding establishment. An excellent opportunity is afforded anyone looking for a profitable investment in the prosperous township of Shannon, Mr. Fitchett, the owner of four housed erected on half an acre, and situated on Stout-street, close to railway station, post office, and right in the centre of the town, is desirous of disposing of one, or more, or the lot. The above picture does not do justice to the property. The houses) are all well and faithfully built, and occupied by good tenants. The owner has exceptional reasons for selling, and this is really a great chance to make money. All information will be supplied on application to Mr. W. H. Fitchett, the o,wner, Box 19, Shannon.

The above firm consistently maintain their reputation of having what must be described as by far and away the most comprehensive display of dairying utensils at the present National Dairy Show at Palmerston North. Just inside the main building, where the firm have been located for many years, they are still to be found. The exhibit is not only an interesting one, but there is something to catch the eye of every man and ■woman, whether their herd numbers one hundred or one single cow. The milk bucket, the little and big strainer, the cooler, the creamery can, the cheese press, are ordinary enough lines in the ordinary sense, but there \is a distinctiveness about the Harvey and Sons' wares that makes the visitor halt when he comes opposite their stand. The display is certainly attractively set_ out, and the visitors are not slow to realise this, because ever since the Show doors were opened there has been evidence of considerable interest being taken in this particular stand. • ' Mr. John Cannon is in charge of the exhibit, and it would seem as if he is having a very busy time with dairy factory managers and others. The firm are tinsmiths, and specialise in the manufacture of dairying utensils and the fitting-out and equipping of dairy and cheese factories and creameries, and several of the more important jobs of this description throughout the Manawatu stand to their credit. ' ■ Special attention is paid to this branch of then 1 business, and the rapid growth experienced in their trade since commencing business in Palmerston is the best proof possible of the absolutely reliable nature of their work. In addition to the display of dairying appliances seen in the above photo, Mqnsi'Rt Hni'vey arid Suns ha.va a £u,11.«i204 silo ovactqd on the jjraujitU which jq, \>cj]
