AUCKLAND BOATBUILDERS AWARD
(BT TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, 18th June. The Auckland boatbuilders' award fixes the hours at forty-four a week, the minimum • wages of journeymen shipwrights at Is 6d an hour, and of boatbuilders at Is 4^d an hour. Employers are prohibited from borrowing men from each other while there are unemployed shipwrights willing and able to do the work.
