Winter Handicap, of 100 soys ; once round. — Heather Mixture 9.0, 1 ; Plunder 10.13,2; T0ki10.1, 3. Scratched: Haumakaka, Alces, and Master Strowan. Time, lmin 52sec. Won by three-quar-ters of a length, half a length between second and third. Hawkes Bay Hurdles, of 300 sovb; two miles. — Waipunoa, 9.4, 1 ; Cornelian, 10.0, 2; Aruake, 10.0, 3. Scratched — Immensity, Queen's Poet, and .Aratiatia. Won by a neck. Several lengths between second and third. Time, 3min 59sec.
