A NOTABLE CONCERT

What is promised to be " the concert of- the Carnival" is to be given in the Town Hall 6n Wednesday next, under the patronage and in the presence of Their Excellence's Lord and Lady Liverpool, in' support of the candidature of Dr. Platts-Mills, and an exceptionally strong programme has been arranged. Tho following artists have given their services : — Miss Mina Caldow, Miss Rene Querec. Miss Agnes Segrief, Miss Winifred Lonsdale, Nurso Te Au (Otaki), Mr. Bernard Page (City Organist), Mr. Hamilton Hodges, Mr. J. M. Clark, Mr. E. B. Gilchrist, Mr. E. J. Hill, Signor Vitetta, and The Lyric Quartette (Messrs. H. F. Wood, W. Jennings, W. Goudie. and C. Connors). Mrs. Qucree. Miss Quill (Otaki), and Mr. D. A. Kenny will play the accompaniments. The plan for the reserved seats is now at the Bristol Piano Company.
