GOLF COMPETITIONS

Golfers will be specially interested in a competition to be held simultaneously throughout the Dominion for the purpose of augmenting the Wounded Soldiers' Fund. E. S. Douglas and Jas. Watt, the Miramar and Heretaunga golf professionals, have each dona-ted a complete bag of clubs, one for the ladies' competition and the other for the men's. The entrance fee will be Is. and the gross "proceeds will be handed over to the fund. Both competitions will be one medal round, to be played on club handicap.- The ladips' match is set down for Wednesday, 23rd June, and the men's for Saturday, 26th June.
