The Wairarapa Licensing Committee has decided to urge the Government to appoint an inspector ac provided by section 218 of the Licensing Act, 1908, to take all necessary steps to prevent the sale of bad liquor ; also to amend the Licensing Act in the direction of gjving power to committees to grant licenses for shorter hours than those named in the present Act and fix tho fens.
