SECRET OF EFFICIENCY.
" When the Great Western Railway had to change its gadge for 200 miles in two days it kept 5000 men away from drink and did tho work in thirty"one hours," says the Echo's Idea-man. " But we need not go back so far, for we could not have had the Panama Canal, the biggest thing that man has ever done upon the earth, without , prohibition. It is the work of 60,000 strong teetotallers. " Over a thousand million people live to-day in countries where no alcohol goeß, and they make up two-thirds of the earth's population. Half of Africa, half of North America, much more than half of Asia, are under prohibition. " Already two Americans out of every three live under prohibition, and it is almost certain that in ten years from now there will be no alcohol at all under the Stars and Stripes."
