Wilkins, Campny, Johnston, Foster, Gough, Fisher, Brache, Amos; 11 steerage PAPAROA, FROM LONDON En route from London to Wellington the liner Paparoa, which arrived at Hobart at 7 p.m. on Thursday, continued her voyage at 6 p.m. yesterday. She is due at Auckland on Thursday morning next, and at Wellington about the 18th June WAIRtmA'S ' VOYAGE On the Wairuna's voyage from Vancouver to Wellington, completed yesterday afternoon, a moderate south-westerly gale was encountered for the first two days, after which moderate winds prevailed till near the equator. Conditions then changed, a tropical downpour, lasting four days, being experienced. Moderate to flue weather was the rale until Tuesday last, when the vessel ran into a heavy gale with mountainous seas. After this fine weather prevailed until arrival in port. While the Wairuna was on the Pacific coast, proceeding from San Francisco to Vancouver, she experienced a very severe north-west gale, which was said to have been the worst for thirteen years. During the voyage to Wellington 'the steamer Tanchee, of Middlesbrough, was sighted steering southward in latitude 32deg 9min north and longitude 137deg. 41 mm. west, on the 13th May The Wairuna's cargo for this pqrfc totalled 857 tons of general merchandise, paper, timber, etc. There was about 20,000 ft of timber also. The vessel took in Melbourne cargo here, and is sailing to-day for the Victorian port and Sydney MAHENO REPAINTED The Maheno, no* beiog refitted at Port Chalmers, no longer presents the familiar appearance of a Union Company's intercolonial steamer, having been repainted pure white. Before leaving the southern port the vessel will have the Red Cross of Geneva painted on each side RUAHINE LEFT PLYMOUTH Advice has been received that the R.M.S. Ruahine left Plymouth on Wednesday last for Wellington, via the usual «ay ports. She is due here about the 17th July KAITOA RESUMES ON WEDNESDAY , The overhaul to the Kaitoa will not be completed hi time for the vessel to sail on Monday as was intended. She is to come off the Patent Slip on Tuesday, and is scheduled to resume running in the Wellington-Nelson-Motueka service on Wednesday
