*— ♦ NEW ZEALAND CASUALTIES The 37th casualty list of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force operating in the Dardanelles was issued last night, also two progress reports concerning wounded men in hospital. This morning the 38th casualty list was issued. The itwo lists together contain the names of seven men killed in action, five died of wounds, three wounded, and three dangerously ill. Four of these having been previously reported, the total casualties reported are now 1545. THE 36th LIST The following list of casualties was issued at half -past 7 last evening : — KILLED IN ACTION ARTILLERY. 2/330 Gun. Herbert John Manly (Mrs. M. Manly, 33, Daniel-street, Wellington, mother) DIED OF WOUNDS AUCKLAND MOUNTED. 13/442 Trooper Archibald Cranley Simpson (Miss E. M. Maud, Pukeroro, Cambridge) WELLINGTON MOUNTED. 11/593 L.-Cpl. Manley Marfell, 22nd May (Mrs. E. Marfell, Toko, Taranaki) WOUNDED AUCKLAND BATTALION. '32/640, Pte. William Smith (Mrs. Mary Ann Smith, Weston-super-Mare, England) OTAGO BATTALION. 8/324 Pte.
