At the Chamber of Commerce's trading within the Empire meeting, the Pres£ dent stated that Australia was still importing goods made by German com. panics under British names. He in tended to propose a motion for submission to the London and Australian Cham* hers, asking the British Government to call a conference of business experts, on* delegate from each Dominion, to work out a preferential trade scheme.
