NORWEGIAN BARQUE WRECKED

AT MALDEN ISLAND. THE CREW SAFE. (»I TEIEORAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, This Day. The Talune reports by wireless that the Norwegian barque Fram, which left Auckland on 18th October, to load guano at Maiden Island, was totally wrecked there on 24th January. She was moored a short distance, from the shore, and the wreck was due to the moorings carrying away. The crew of twelve landed safely and were conveyed by the barque Activ to Raratonga, whence they are proceeding to Auckland by the Talune.
