For Napier and GLsborne, per Victoria, 3.20 p.m. For Nelson, French Pass, aud Westport, per Kaitoa, -4.20 p.m. For Southern Offices of New Zealand; also Greymoutb, Hokitika, aud Keefton, per Maori, c.15 p.m. Mails for Chatham Islands close at Lyttelton, per Himita-ngi, on Thursday, Oth May, at 4.30 p.m. Late letters for mails beyond the Dominion cannot iv future be posted on the steamer, but inuet be posted in the late-letter posting box at the -Chief Post Office up to the appointed time shown on the mail notice The advertised times for closing mails by steamers are liable .to alteration -(earlier or later) at any moment The Parcel Pos>t Mail per Main Trunk Express closes at the C.P.O. at 11.30 a.m., and for the South per Ferry Steamer at 5.45 p.m. Parcels for despatch by steamers and trains, with the exception of the usual Ferry Steamers for Southern Offices, close at the Chief Post Office, Wellington, one hour before the advertised times of closing of mails As the last clearance of the City receivers is made at 0.45 p.m on Saturdays, all correspondence for the Sunday night Auckland express must be pobted at the Chief Post Office not later than 8 p.m, on Sunday The uirblic are earnestly requested to register all letters containing money or valuables intended to be sent by post All books and sample packets and newspapers for places within the Dominion must be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter mail Closes Unless otherwise specified, registered letters and parcels post packages must be handed in and money orders obtained one hour before the ordinary mail closes ' r All the principal mails by train and steamer close at Te Aro and Courtcnay-place Post Offices at the same hours ac at the Chief Post Office, with tho exception that there is no late-fee clearance, and that mails by the ferry steamers for Southern Offices close at f1.45 p.m. Mails for Auckland and Auckland district, per second Main Trunk Express, close at Courtcnay-place at "5.45 p.m , and To Aro at 8 p.m. A.
