(1 p.m.), 1212 tons, Holmes, for Picton and Nelson TJLIMAROA AND WESTRALIA In order to undergo her periodical overhaul the Huddart-P,vrker steamer Ulimaroa will lay up for one trip on her return to Sydney from Wellington on the 17th inst. The Westralia will then go from Sydney to Hobart in the Ulima-na's runninjj, and will therefore proceed to Sydney, Wellington, Lyttcllon, back to Wellington, and thence to Sydney. After that the Ulimaroa will resume her ordinary time-table. The Westralia, which left Wellington last evening for Lyttelton, Dunedin, adn Bluff, will sail from the latter port next Saturday for Melbourne direct, omitting the usual call at Hobart. She nil! not take any passengers on Saturday No cabled advice has as yet been received from London by the local offlce of the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company of the depnrture from that port of the liner Athpnic for New Zealand. Th« vessel, which has been probably delayed by the extraordinary congestion at the London docks, was expected to leave Home last Mnndny The Blackball Coal Company's steamers, which have hitherto returned to the West Coast from Lyttelton in ballast after diiohirging their coal cargoes, will in future take cargo. The Ngakuta, which left Lyttelton on Monday evening, was the flret of the company's fleet to lift outward cargo The Anchor steamer Alexander, which is due from Mangarakau to-morrow, in bringing a large quantity of timber for discharge here. After discharging this she will proceed to Petone, where she will unload some 200 sheep for the (Sear Company It is reported that the little steamer ntna, a well-known vessel in the Neleon-Bays trarle, has been cold to Karamea buyers. She will probably be used in the Karamea-Westpbrt trade The Turakina is due at Nelson on Sunday next from Timaru Recent passages made by the Union Company's turbine steamer Maheno between Sydney and Aucklahd have been consistently fast.
