IN ONE CASK NO WARNING WAS GIVEN. LONDON. 20th MAreh. The ateamei Hyndford (4286 tons), from B&hia Blahea (on the east coast of Argentina), bound for London, was tots pedoed in the Channel. She readied Gr&vesend leaking. Thft steamer Blue Jacket (3515 tons), from La Plate, bound for London, w«* torpedoed in the Channel, without waining. The crew escaped in the life>boatg. The Blue Jacket reached Southampton with her bowe partly submerged.
