PEACE IN THE FAR EAST. LONDON, 18th March. General Barnardiston, commanding the British troops at Tsing-tau, expresses admiration of the Japanese, who possess an excellent fighting machine, well disciplined, and possessing ample initiative. , -. . He says that the Japanese have the 1 ' greatest possible admiration for Great Britain, and realise that as long A3 Japan and England are friends there will be peace in the Far East. That what they want. ■
