FOREIGN MISSIONS. (Received March 6, 9.50 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Methodist Conference decided against the proposed withdrawal of two missionaries from Fiji. The Rev. Dr. Morley, in opposing the withdrawal, . predicted that the opening of the Panama Canal would result in the initiation of vigorous American enterprise in the islands. At ( an enthusiastic foreign mission meeting the sum of £1560 was subscribed.
