For Auckland— Mesdames Lette and Godfrey, Mr Peat THE SYDNEY BOAT The local office of 'the Huddart-Parker Company has been advised that the Ulimaroa left Sydney at 1.15 p.m. yesterday direct for Wellington. She is bringing 135 passengers for New Zealand, and 863 tons of general cargo to put out at this port. The vessel is due here on Tuesday morning THE HINEMOA The Hinemoa, which returned to port yesterday afternoon, is expected to sail for Cook Strait lighthouses early on Monday morning. Calls will be made at The Brothers, Jac^eon Head beacon, and Karori Rock. After this trip the vessel will probably lay up here for overhaul and repairs. On her trip from the South the Hinemoa was unable to land at Ka-^ hurangi Point lighthouse owing to bad weather TAINUI'S ITINERARY Leaving Wellington to-day the Tainui goes on to Lyttelton and Port Chalmers to complete discharge of her London cargo and commence Homeward loading. She returns to Wellington to complete loading, sailing finally from this port BLACKBALL STEAMERS DELAYED Advice lias been received by the Blackball Company from their Christchurcb agent stating that the Ngakuta hae been delayed, and in consequence will not be here until about Wednesday instead of to-morrow as previously announced. The other two vessels have also been delayed three days. As yet, no explanation of this serious delay has been received in Wellington MARESFIELD, FROM NEW YORK Continuing her voyage from New York the A. and A. Line's sieamer Mareefield left Napier last evening for Wellington. She was due in port this afternoon. An account of the vessel's voyage has already been published in The Post MELBOURNE STEAMSHIP COMPANY A net profit of £9087 was earned by the Melbourne Steamship Company, Ltd., during the half year ended the 31st December, or jEI3 in excess of that for the previous term, but £3778 less than for the corresponding portion Of 1913. There was a balance of £9590 brought into the accounts, bo that, with the profits earned, the amount available was £18,677. Duncan) stated that no reply had been received from the Minister of Railways to the board's question as to whether the subsidy of J2fOO per annum would cease in the evuit of the board pur'cuasiug the wharves.
