SEVENTEEN BROTHERS IN THE ARMY
'A Wellington (Salop) correspondent informed a London paper" recently tbat a> farm servant, named John Davies, who enlisted at the local recruiting department in the Army Service Corps, made the Seventeenth brother in one family in the Army. Two of hi* brothers are in Lord Kitchener's Army, two in the Welsh Fusiliers, and 12 in the King's Shropshire Light Infantry. Fourteen of the family i are on active service. Sergeant Davies, the father, died in India when serving in the Shropshire Regiment.
