HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT

The Prime Minister has received the following cable message from the High Commissioner :—: — LONDON, sth March, 4.50 p.m. North of Arras, near Notre Dame de Lorette, the Allies recaptured an advance trench lost on Wednesday last, capturing one hundred and fifty prisoners. The enemy has renewed the bombardment of Reims Cathedral. tn the Argonne region, at 1 Vauquois, the enemy's counter-attack was repulsed, and fresh progress made. A number of prisoners were captured and the greater part of the village mastered.
