The Admiralty announces that the steamer Thordis was examined in dry dock, and that the injuries to her keel and propeller confirm the evidence of Captain Bell and. his crew. Yesterday afternoon the German submarine U8 was sunk in the Channel off Dover by destroyers. - The officers and men were taken prisoners.
