SORTIES FROM PRZEMYSL. PETROGRAD, 21st February. Official : The enemy's attacks between Tuchla and Wiszkow were particularly fierce, but were repulsed. We easily repulsed two sorties from Przemyel, inflicting severe losses. HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT The Prime Minister has received the following message from the High Commissioner :—: — LONDON, 20tb Feb., 4.45 a.m. Petrograd reports :— " Li the Carpathians a series of hostile attacks was repulsed. The Russians, by a dashing bayonet attack captured the height east of Lupkow Pass. At daybreak on Wednesday the Russians captured a small fortification in the region of Zavadok, killing all the German defenders. German counter-attacks, in massed formation, were repelled with great losses. At Wyszkow sanguinary fighting continues. Two thousand prisoners were taken in two days."
