100,000 BUSHELS FROM CANADA. (BY TSI,EGIHPH— PhKSS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Shortly after midnight on Saturday the Norwegian Bteamer Hesperos was sighted off Tiritiri. She has on /board about 100.000 bushels of wheat, purohased in Canada by the New Zealand Government. The lighthouse-keeper was not able to satisfactorily communicate with the vessel, and the pilot boat went out to give the steamer orders to proceed to Lyttelton. The Hesperos left St. John on 3rd January. / Some 205,000 of the 585,000 bushels of wheat purchased in Australia and Canada by the Government have already arrived at New Zealand ports.
