HAWKES BAY SEAT. (BY TBLEORAPH— PHESP ASSOCIATION.) m , NAPIER, This Day. The hearing of the petition of Mr. H. M. Campbell, the unsuccessful candidate for the Hawkes Bay seat at the recent Parliamentary election, to unseat Dr. M'Nab, M.P., commenced this morning at the Napier Courthouse before the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) and Mr. Justice Edwards. Mr. C. P. fc>kerrett, X.C.. is for the petitioner and Sir John luiidlay, K.C., for the respondent. The morning was occupied in legal argument on the method of procedure and counsel s address. "
