PRICE OF FLOUR AND INCREASED PAY. (BT TELEORAMI— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) OAMARU, This Day. The Oamaru branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants passed the following resolutions : —(1) "That thtattention of the Government be called to the fact that the millers are charging £16 per ton for flour, presumably manufactured from wheat imported ' by the Government at 6s 3d per bushel nd soM to millers at 5s 9d, the country bearing the loss of 6d per bushel, and we cotv sider that now is the time for the Government to fix the price of botn wnwit and flour to prevent consumers '"I'om being further exploited." (2) "That the executive of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants be urged to ask for an- advance in pay all round, owing to the extraordinaly .increase in the cost o£ living.'
