[The Papal See has decided to establish a delegation for the first time in Australasia, and Archbishop Cerretti is • the first appointed to this high office " (says the Auckland Star). He will spend, it is said, the first six weeks in Sydney, where he is to occupy the late Cardinal Moran's residence at Manly. After that he, with his court, goes to Melbourne, thence in turn visiting every otte of the Australian States and New Zealand. His Lordship Bishop Cleary has received a communication from Archbishop Cerretti, notifying the appointment as secretary to the delegation of the Rev. Father Ormond, of St. Patrick's Cathedral parish. Father Ormond will leave to assume his new and importaht duties for Sydney by, the Riverina on Tuesday, 16th inst> Archbishop Cerretti has for many years occupied prominent positions in the papal diplomatic service.
