(By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) PANAMA EXHIBITION AUSTRALIAN FRUIT BARRED. (Received February 8, 10.20 a.m.,) SYDNEY, This Day. The California Board of Agriculture prohibits the importation of Australian fruit to compete at the Panama Exhibition, owing to the presence of tho Mediterranean fruit fly. Mr. Nielsen (Australian _ representative) believes the embargo is being utilised to prevent competition with Californian fruit.
