FATE OF DE WET
DUTCH PRESS URGES CLEMENCY. (TIMES IND SYDiNRY BUN SERVICES.) LONDON, 30th January. The Dutch press is urging that clemency be extended to De Wet. who, with the late General Beyers, initiated the recent rebellion in the Orange River Colony, and was subsequently run to earth by General Botha s forces.
