GRASS FIRES
THE DAMAGE DONE IN MARL» BOROUGH. (Bt TELBORtPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) BLENHEIM, This Day. The grafg fire in tho Upper Awatere district has now been definitely checked. It covered a smaller extent that wae at first reported, and the damage done was less than anticipated. The origin of the fire is not known, but is believed to have been set 'up by rabbit poison.
