AFTER ANTARCTICA
ACTIVE SERVICE AT THE FRONT. (Received January 15, 8.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. A letter received from Dr. Maclean, one of the party sent to the Antarctic to search for Sir Douglas Mawson, states that he and four other members of the party who went to England — Captain Bage and Messrs. Madigan, Bickerton, and Hodgman — have joined the British forces at the front.
