COST OF FOOD
STATEMENT BY MR. MASSEY. On the subject of the Cost of Living under war conditions, the Right Hon. W. F. Massey told a Post representative this afternoon that the action already taken by the Government would stand until the new crop of wheat comes in, and then he hoped it would be possible to remove the restrictions and allow the rule of supply and' demand to operate. "In the meantime," he added, "we are keeping a watchful ©ye on whatever transactions take place, so as to prevent any exploitation of the public. ''
